Maira and Brant's beautiful wedding

This was not your normal wedding day. I love Greek weddings. The ceremonies are so cool and are truly deep and spiritual. It was held at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Chattanooga, Tennessee. We then followed Maira and Brant to their wedding reception at the famous Ringgold Depot.
Maira and Brandt are so cute together. All I had to do was put Maira within about a foot of Brant and he started staring at her, then touching her and softly kissing her. No kidding, the romance and passion photographs were all Brant and Maira. I have really gotten to know this family and we have had a great time helping them with all of the planning and photographic elements of their wedding day. I really want to wish them a super long and happy marriage.

Kelli and Robert - Flowers, water and laughter...

I love it when we have a lot of spring rain. Some May flowers are just now blooming. Kelli and Robert are so cute together. I love the way that Kelli giggles when she looks at Robert. We found an incredible bed of yellow daisies at Renaissance Park. I am still not sure that Kelli totally trusted me when I asked her to sit down in them. I think she was afraid that some bugs were going to attack her. I had so much fun taking these images. Thanks Kelli and Robert (Rob). I hope you enjoy them also.

Beasley Photography and the Gugelman Senior Seminar
Angela and I just returned from one of the best experiences of our lives. We visited Travis Gugelman in Rexburg,Idaho for a three day intense senior workshop. Tuesday morning (at 3:00am) Travis took us to the Grand Tetons and Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Wednesday, 4 vans of people plus one trailer of couches, chairs, dresses and photography gear took off for three hours to a ghost town in Virginia City, Montana. We spent the entire day in the ghost town photographing and watching Travis demonstrate his style. It was amazing. We can't even process all that we saw and heard during these three days. Keep scrolling down and view the Ghost town and Yellowstone photos.
CHECK OUT THIS VIDEO!!!

Ghost Town, Virginia City, Montana
Just imagine, you're riding your horse into a town at the end of a 40 mile trail ride. You can hear the music from an old piano as you pass by the Saloon. Dust and the smell of horses fill the air. Saloon girls, lawlessness, crime, shootouts... I could almost feel these things happening when I entered this town.
We visited an old abandoned town sitting on the side of the road near Virginia City, Montana (Remember, Virginia City is the town that Bonanza was based on). During the 1850's, gold ran out and the California Gold rush began. In an instant, this town was deserted as prospectors pack-up their pans and moved to California. Even the train cars were just left sitting on the tracks. It was easy for me to mentally travel back in time. Notice the hitching post and signage on some of the old buildings.
This place was a 10 on my really cool meter.
All prints are posted in our fine art gallery at: http://beasleyphoto.net/photocart/index.php

Yellowstone and Jackson Hole Wyoming

Grand Prismatic geyser pool - Yellowstone
I can't even begin to tell you how INCREDIBLE our trip was. I guess you can tell from the images that I was in a photographers paradise. I have been reading about Yellowstone my whole life but it was nothing compared to what Angela and I experienced. Seeing a photo vs. actually staring straight up at a mountain are two very different things. We only had one day in Yellowstone but I am definitely going back. I hope you enjoy these images as much as I loved taking them.
All prints are posted in our fine art gallery at: http://beasleyphoto.net/photocart/index.php
This view actually took my breath away. It was taken at Lower Falls.
(Notice the "Yellowstone")
I am not sure I like the way he is looking at me.
This barn is THE most photographed barn in America. Peterbuilt and Ford have used it as well as many other stock photography agencies. The Grand Tetons are in the background. It was kind of foggy when we were there.
This was an incredible cliff face. I shot this with a fish-eye lens to get the whole view. It reminds me of an Ansel Adams type of image.

Beautiful Little Grace
This is adorable little Grace Skates. I know her mom and dad (Sarah and Burney Skates) are so proud. I also know a few grandparents that are probably beaming over her. Angela and I were invited to the Gilbert home to meet miss Grace. We were able to use the awesome natural lighting that was steaming into their back porch. Grace is so cute. You have got to see this slide show. I showed it to Angela and I counted 7 ooh's and aahs. Thank you Sarah!

Adrienne and Jared's Engagement at Walnut Hill Farm - WOW!

Beasley Photography gets to visit some beautiful locations. Every now and then we get to see beauty that goes beyond our expectations. Two years ago, we traveled to Boston and visited Lakeview Pavilion and Cape Cod. Last year, Beasley Photography photographed two weddings in Callaway Gardens. This year, we were awed by Walnut Hill Farm, amazingly just down the road from us in Dalton, Ga.
Adrienne and Jared chose this location for their October wedding. They are so excited that their wedding is happening at Walnut Hill Farm (and rightfully so). I met Joe and Nanette Yarborough when I was there. They own the property and I must say they are two of the sweetest people you could ever meet. This place is gorgeous and I predict it will be THE outdoor wedding hotspot in a couple of years. The facilities are incredible. What struck me most was the Yarbrough's passion (obsession) for landscaping. You really need to see it to believe it. Joe and Nanette are in the process of converting their Llama farm to a venue for weddings, receptions, and group functions.

Marcus and Heather's Wedding Day at the Choo-Choo
I want to dedicate this blog to Marcus and Heather and also to the Tri-Community Fire department. It was great to see the whole department come out and support Marcus and Heather. I especially loved having the "BIG" green firetruck there.
I love to photograph weddings at the Chattanooga Choo-Choo. The gardens provide me with some of the most beautiful choices of photography backgrounds in the entire Chattanooga area. Not only do we have beauty there but we also get to use some of the back alleys and grundgy locations that are a walking distance away.
Heather was beautiful. She had this a little grin that she kept on all day. We want to thank her family for letting us capture this special event with our camera. I love the images of Heather getting ready in the bathroom at the Choo-Choo.
Ok, I'll say it, Marcus and his family are...well, crazy. I had to be shooting fast because they kept me busy. This is the second wedding that we photographed for the Kilgore family. It was great to see Breeland and Michelle and their beautiful children. It was also fun being with Sonny and Linda. They are so sweet and always make eveyone around them smile.

This is the groom's cake and Yes, the cake is real!
It was built by Mitzi Bush. It even had faux fire coming out of the top. You can reach Mitzi at myronroy@bellsouth.net.

CityScope Magazine - Annual Wedding Issue features Beasley Photography
Angela and I were extremely excited to be the featured photographer for this years Chattanooga CityScope Magazine's annual wedding edition. Beasley Photography was selected for the fourth time to host the cover and inside featured wedding story and photographs. It is quite an honor to have our prints displayed in this magazine. I am always pleased with the print quality and color that Cityscope magazine produces.
I also want to especially thank Jessica Tucker of Jessica Tucker Designs for her hard work and tallent. We love you Jessica!
This years cover girl is Mrs. Stacey Beardsley Rumsey. Stacey was married to Tim Rumsey on June 8th, 2008. Their ceremony took place at Collegedale Seventh-day Adventist Church. This bridal image of Stacey was taken at a friends home prior to the wedding day. Stacey is so beautiful and her smile is genuine. I am so glad that Cityscope Magazine chose this photo for the cover.
Mary Beth Breeden Sierra was featured on the inside of the magazine. She was chosen to introduce the wedding section of the magazine. Mary Beth was married to Mike Sierra on October 25th, 2008 at Dalton First United Methodist Church. Mary Beth has one of those "sparky" personalities. She always smiles. She and Mike were a complete joy to photograph. This shot was taken in the garden behind the church. I love her expression in this image.
The next section titled "Planning Your Perfect Wedding" featured an incredible moment from Dr. and Mrs. Brian Songer's beautiful Callaway Gardens wedding. Brian Songer and Natalie Quay were married on May 10th, 2008. I can't even begin to describe this amazing location combined with two incredible people. You really need to scroll down to their blog post and see the slide show. It's ironic that the section is titled "planning your perfect wedding" because this wedding was about as close as you can get to perfect. Beautiful Callaway gardens, rolling hills of purple flowers, passion, romance and fun. Brian and Natalies family were so much fun. You should have been there for the dancing at the reception!
Cityscope magazine wanted to add a section called "Pampering your Party". Danielle Dietz Scott and her entourage highlighted this section. Danielle Dietz and Zac Scott were married on May 17, 2008. The ceremony took place at UTC's Patten chapel. Their reception followed at Miller plaza in downtown Chattanooga. Danielle and Zach were so easy going. The whole day was a complete pleasure.
Jennifer and Ian Morrow were married on July 19, 2008 at UTC's Patten Chapel. Their reception followed that The Chattanoogan Hotel. This photo was used in a national ad campaign for H&H Color Labs Canvas Gallery wrap prints. We photographed Jennifer at the Bluff View Art District in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The photo was printed in Professional Photographer and Rangefinder Magazines. It was a natural choice for the ad.

Little man Jackson

This little guy was giving me faces and playing the whole time he was being photographed. Yes, and like most boys, he loved playing with our basketball and baseball. I might add that he has quite a throwing arm! Angela and I had to be on guard. We never knew when he was throwing the baseball at us. Thank you Darah for letting us take these photos of you and your little man.

Kim and Joe's January 31st Wedding

Angela and I had the pure joy of being at the wedding of Kim O'Kelley and Joe Wingate. We have known Kim's family for several years. I loved seeing Kim smiling all day. She was an amazing bride. Joe was his usual cool, calm, collected self. The day started at First Centenary Methodist Church in Chattanooga, Tennessee. In my opinion, I think that this church has the best stained glass alter background in the Chattanooga area. The reception was held in "The Vine", appropriately named church fellowship hall. After the wedding, Kim, Joe, Angela and I went to UTC's Patten Chapel for a few post wedding bride and groom photos. What a great day!

My beautiful niece Natalie
Our family reached another milestone this year. My niece - Natalie Childers is graduating from Ringgold High School. I just finished her coffee table album. She is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. Her mom and dad (Tammie and Kent Childers) are very proud of her. Way to go Natalie!

The Gallaway Family by Chattanooga Children's Photographer - Greg Beasley Photography
Rolling around on the floor, wrestling, laughing, screaming...all of the things happened when the Gallaway's visited us recently. Justin is our new College and Career Pastor at Parkway Baptist, Fort Oglethorpe. Justin and Whitney, we are so glad that you are now part of our Parkway family. I just can't wait until I get a chance to point my camera at your family again.

Funny (and shocking) Video
I found this video last year and I couldn't believe what I was seeing. The event was recorded by Videos by Carol, Burbank Ca. I will admit, the music and fast motion make it funny, but the shocking part for me was that some photographers actually do this kind of thing. I can't imagine the look on peoples faces if they had to actually watch photographers disrupting the ceremony like this. I bet you also have been to a few weddings where the photographer(s) do this. Rest assured that I do not ever disrupt the ceremony.

Christina and Brian's Engagements

Christina and Brian and myself were off on a mission. We were after fall colors and we were willing to take on any location, cross fences, tresspass and risk legal action. Just kidding, we did walk on a few properties without permission but we had a great time together. Just notice that spark in their eyes. What a great looking couple.

Which Camera do I buy?

DP Review just released it's compact camera buying guide for 2008. You can see the review here. Click DP review. All of these cameras are less than $150. This is one of my favorite web sites. I will not buy any euipment until I have read the reviews on this web site. I am constantly getting stopped and people are always asking me camera buying questions. This site should be very helpful to you. This particular review tests cameras under $150, perfect for kids and family gifts. Remember that Megapixels are not the only standard of quality for a good camera. Each camera sensor reacts differently to color and light. You should focus your attention towards image quality not megapixels.
One of my favorite compact cameras is the Canon G10. I am a Nikon photographer but this Canon camera is amazing. It's purchase price is $459. This camera has many professional features and it also can take movies. The hot shoe on top allows you to add a more powerful flash if you need one. The G9 model was $899 a couple of years ago. Canon added more features and upgraded the sensor to 14 megapixel then lowered the price - amazing. Check this camera out!

Annabel (miss personality)
Alright, just admit it. Annabel is a little cutie pie. You just want to hug her. She was a dream to photograph. She had this amazing little smile the whole time even though it was really cold outside. I can't believe how fast she has grown since we last photographed her in January. Kids like this don't have terrible two's...do they?

Maira and Brant's engagement at Coolidge Park

What a sweet couple. They are so happy together. Maira and Brant met while working at a grocery store. That is near and dear to my heart because Angela and I were both working at grocery stores while working our way through college. I can hardly wait for their June 2009 wedding day. I hope you enjoy the show.

Mark and Mo's Wedding Day
Our photography business has always been growing and moving into new and different types of events. Now we can add a Lebanese wedding to our list. Mark and Mo warned us that this was not going to be a typical wedding. How right they were. They started getting ready at the Chanticleer Inn on top of Lookout Mtn. Then we moved to The Fairyland Club for the wedding and reception. Mark told me about a Lebanese tradition where the groom's family escorts the bride to the wedding. Mo was escorted from the Fairyland Club to the ceremony site all to the sound of singing and drums beating. It was an incredible experience for me.
Oh and the reception...wow. This family can dance. I hope we get the opportunity to do this again. If you ever get a chance to go to a Lebanese wedding, trust me...go!
We love working with Laura Kellogg. She did an amazing job (as always) with the flowers. www.laurasgarden.com

Happy Birthday little John

What an awesome milestone for a baby and parents. We got to watch John Todd devour his birthday cake on his 1st birthday. He had no problem digging into it. Although mom felt a little funny watching John get icing all over himself, we all just laughed as he acted like he was the only one in the room. Come to think of it...he didn't offer any of us a piece.
Happy Birthday John !!!!!!!

Jennifer and Ian's Wedding Day

To begin with, after Jennifer and Ian's incredible engagement session, I knew the wedding day was going to be a rush. The ceremony took place at Patten Chapel. Ian and the guys were very relaxed making candid shots a lot easier for us to get. Fortunately, we have know Jennifer's awesome family for several years. Seeing everyone again felt like we were with old friends. It's a good thing that Jennifer and Ian are comfortable in front of the camera. Wedding candid moments seemed to be falling in our lap. The reception was held at The Chattanoogan Hotel. We managed to find a really cool red wall on the way to the reception. Check out the "tickle photo" compliments of Ian. I hope you enjoy seeing the slide show.

The Amazing Miss Jennifer

I have had several people ask me to see more of Jennifer Testerman's bridal images. Her portrait was picked by last week by H&H Color lab for a national marketing campaign. Jennifer was amazing. We photographed the session at the Bluff View Art District in Chattanooga, Tennessee. I knew with every photo taken that these were going to look fantastic. The hardest part for me of the whole photo shoot was editing the images down.

H&H Canvas Promotional Piece
I am just sitting here working on a few photos and I get an email from H&H Color Lab (the best professional color lab in the country) . When I open the e-mail, beautiful Jennifer Testerman-Morrow is looking right at me. We photographed Jennifer's bridal portrait this past summer at the Bluff View Art District in Chattanooga, Tennessee. H&H gets thousands of images daily and they picked Jennifer's Bridal for the Canvas promotion.
Angela and I are thrilled that H&H Color Lab chose Jennifer Testerman-Morrow's bridal image for a national marketing campaign for their Canvas Gallery Wrap prints. The print will appear in several nationally published professional photography magazines including Rangefinder and Professional Photographer. The print will also be printed to 30x40 and it will appear in the H&H booth at all national photography conventions. Angela and I are truly excited that this print was chosen and we want to thank the beautiful Jennifer Testerman - Morrow.
I think that I just might need to get one of these for my wall.

Moonlight Photos...Really!!!
I am dead serious. I shot these images last saturday night at 9:58 pm by moonlight (no other light source). We had to use a flashlight to walk into the field. I am not kidding, it was so dark that we could barely see. I was so excited, I was jumping up and down. Julie Gravitt and Daniel Thomas (bride and groom) said that they would verify that it was really dark.

The Beasley Family plus Grayson
I'll admit it, we are like most families. Life is very busy, so busy that we don't get to photograph our own family as much as we would like to. Angela is the hero here. She put our family portrait on our schedule (we have to schedule it like we would anyone elses portrait). She went out and bought the clothing and with two teenage daughter's, that's a lot harder than it sounds. She picked the location. We went to a great spot that we liked at Berry College in Rome, Georgia. Angela also lined up Mallory Hope to take the photo for us. Mallory is like one of our own daughters. She has a natural ability to get my girls to smile (and that also can be a lot harder than it sounds).
So here we go, but wait, what about our cat Grayson. He's part of our family. That's right, we decided to take Grayson. Grayson has spent his entire life inside our home. We never travel with him but taking him on a three hour car ride sounded like a good idea. Not only was it a bad idea but during the middle of the photo shoot, Grayson decides to go down into a small cave next to the water fall and he doesn't want to come out. We tried everything to get him out but he wouldn't budge. Finally, after about 20 minutes, both me and Mallory managed to get reach down and get a hold of him at the same time and we pulled him out together.
After driving 90 minutes to Berry College, with light dropping fast, we had about 15 minutes for photography. I hope family portraits are not this stressful for everyone else.
Mallory's exact words: "An evening with the Beasley's: Priceless"

Family time at the river
Family Life photos are our favorite. I love to just watch and observe family interaction. I also love working with Chad, Misty, Macy and Jalie. What an incredibly good-looking family. I just sit back and keep my camera ready. I am loving watching Macy and Jalie grow up. Jalie has changed so much in the last year. Here are a few of Misty's favorite images from our last session.

Here are a couple photos of Jalie from just one short year ago

Mark and Jenn's Wedding Album - Foxboro, Massachusetts

Angela and I had an incredible opportunity last year to travel to Foxboro, Massachusetts and photograph a wedding for Mark and Jenn. Right off the bat, with the first phone call, it seemed that we all four hit it off. Mark and Jenn are one of the sweetest couples that we have ever worked with. When I mentioned shooting them on the beach in Cape Cod, they immediately said YES! The entire day was amazing. We only wish that we could go do it all over again.
The day began with Mark and Jenn getting ready at the hotel. Mark and Jenn met in the garden at Lakeview Pavillion. Later, family and friends showed up for the outdoor garden wedding. The beautiful reception was held in the reception hall at Lakeview Paillion. All of the family and guest were dancing and laughing the entire evening. It was one of the best receptions that we have ever been to. The next day, we met Mark and Jenn in Falmouth Mass. (Cape Cod) for beach photos at sunset.
They sent us an amazing testimonial after the wedding:
_____________________________________________________
Greg and Angela Beasley made our wedding a wonderful, relaxing, and memorable experience! From our first phone conversation, we knew that our wedding memories would be in great hands. On the day of the wedding, Greg and Angela accompanied us as we prepared for our big day; capturing all of the little details from the jewelry and cufflinks we wore to hugs with our closest friends and family. They calmed our nerves as we prepared to see one another before our ceremony and captured our first interactions in a private and unobtrusive way. Greg and Angela made sure to take both candid and posed pictures of us, our wedding party, families, and many of our guests. They used a variety of lenses and angles and created images that spoke to the diversity of their work and highlighted the great and tiny moments of our wedding day. Working with Greg and Angela was such a pleasure. We recommend them highly and look forward to working with them in the future as our family grows!

Mark and Mo - Sunset Engagement on the River
Fun is the best way to describe Mark and Mo. I love engagement sessions. They are the most relaxing and enjoyable sessions that I do. No one waiting on you, no one in a hurray. Just me, Mark and Mo and a beautiful sunset. Wait a minute, that doesn't sound romantic. Anyway, These two "hams' are great in front of the camera. They enjoy each others' company and inspire me to look for fleeting moments.

Ben and Rachel's Wedding Day
Last year, Angela and I traveled to Berry College in Rome, Georgia to photograph Ben and Rachel's engagement. We noticed immediately that they were going to be a lot of fun to photograph. Even the ducks were very interested in hanging out with Ben and Rachel. Their wedding was everything that you want in a wedding. Except for a little heat that day, everything went perfect. I did notice that every time that Ben and Rachel looked at each other, Rachel would laugh. It's magical when two people truly enjoy being around each other. Her contagious laugh was infectious and made shooting this wedding a pure joy. Another obvious thing about Ben and Rachel is that they have a lot of really close friends. Thank you everyone for making their day special. The wedding started at First Baptist Church - Lafayette, Ga and the reception was held at The Walden Club, in downtown Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Lindsey and Brad's Engagement - The Farm
Hey Lindsey and Brad. We really covered a lot of ground. Starting in the rain in Lafayette and ending at The Farm in Rocky Face, Ga. The session could not have been better. I LOVE your smiles and the way that you look at each other. You both seem really comfortable being together. That's the way any relationship and/or marriage should start.

Jennifer and Jason's Engagement
It's August and it is supposed to be hot. Just imagine how hot Jason was in his military uniform. I really enjoyed taking these photos. Jennifer and Jason have a real chemistry together. They laughed and rolled around in the grass wrestling with each other. I am sure the bride and groom would appreciate any comments that you might want to leave on the tab below the slide show.

Jessica and Gregg's Wedding Day
I LOVED the colors at Jessica and Gregg's wedding. Both the ceremony and reception were held at the Chattanooga Theater Center. The backdrop for us was the Hunter Museum and the Walnut Street bridge. We were also able to take advantage of Coolidge Park next door. The overcast sky was a real advantage for us photographically. This family really enjoys being together. The reception was full of dancing (in very strange ways). Maybe the family that dances together, stays together.

Stacey and Tim's Wedding Day
The more we get to know Stacey and Tim, the more we realize how special they are. Stacey always has this sweet expression everytime I talk to her. Hey eyes open up and she is completely locked into what you are saying. I will never forget the look on her face when she saw Tim for the first time on her wedding day (and I am sure that Tim will not forget her expression either). We started our day watching the girls get ready at Villa Salon off of Shallowford Road. We then met them at Collegedale Church of Seventh-day Adventists for the ceremony. I hope you enjoy a few of the images from their slide show. Oh, and thank you again to Tim and Stacey for meeting us in the prayer garden. I know it was hot but I think it was well worth the effort.

Nathan and Jency's Wedding

Jency's dad said that all Jency wanted was an outdoor picnic wedding day and that is exactly what it was. Kids were playing frisbee, beach balls were everywhere and everyone was laughing and having a great time. Clumpy's Ice Cream served ice cream sandwiches and it was well needed. Jency and Nathan were so happy together. Thank you both for allowing us to be there.

Smok'in Engagement
Beautiful sunset + hot looking couple = Incredible engagement photos. I just had to show these off. I recently had the opportunity to shoot Jennifer and Ian's engagement photos. Their wedding is planned for July 19th. We used the riverfront area and ended up at the Walnut Street bridge to catch the sunset.
FYI - Check back here after July 19th. I can't wait to post Jennifer's bridal images for you to look at.

Katie and Drew's Wedding Day
This is wedding season and May has been a very busy month for us. On May 24th, Katie and Drew were married at Chester Frost Pavillion. They met before the wedding near the lake and had a few quite moments (with the paparazzi watching). We mixed this video using Animoto editing. I hope you can see Katie's deep blue eyes. Katie and Drew have been fantastic to work with. They didn't even let a little rain during their engagement session get them down.

Congratulations Seniors!
What an incredible year! We had a great time and man did we ever cover a lot of ground. I think that Angela and I have been to every possible photo spot in town. Here are a few images from this year. I hope that you enjoy seeing these beautiful faces.
To the Seniors, I hope that God blesses you all and leads every step that you take.

Danielle and Zach - Patten Chapel
I remember Zach telling me, a few days before the wedding, that they just want their wedding day to be fun. It all started at Patten Chapel for the ceremony and then moved to Miller Plaza for the reception. Candids images were just falling into our lap thanks to the bridesmaids and groomsmen. We followed the bride and groom to the Stone Fort Inn afterwards to get a few more candids. I hope you enjoy this slide show. Feel free to type comments to Danielle and Zach.

Natalie and Brian - Callaway Gardens
I can't believe that we have been to Callaway Gardens twice in the last month. Of all of the places to shoot, Callaway is photography paradise. In lieu of the potential rain, the sky co-operated and gave us amazing light. I want to thank Natalie and Brian for smiling all day long even though we were moving from location to location constantly. Notice Natalie's shoes in the slide show, now imagine wearing them all day long.

Leigh and Frank's Wedding - Marietta Conference Center
What an awesome day we had with the Daniel and Baldwin Families, and of course, Leigh and Frank. Leigh had an incredible smile all day long. She just beamed and Frank melted when they saw each other for the first time in the garden. The entire wedding party was so much fun and we just basically followed them through the day, capturing moments that opened up to our camera. We also want to thank the "Fabulous" Meleah Brown (wedding coordinator) from Sealand Events. She made our day so much easier and we could focus on capturing moments instead of who should be where at what time.
Special thanks to Elizabeth Avett for the amazing floral display. The colors were unbelievable and I know that we will be using her florals as background images for Leigh and Franks wedding album. Her e-mail address is avett@optilink.us .

Thanks Mary Beth and Mike for the great time along the Riverfront and in the downtown area shooting your engagement photos. I really like the "boots" Your both are made for each other. You seem to read each other's mind. I hope you enjoy.

Julie and Bryant in Callaway Gardens
I can't begin to describe the beauty of Julie and Bryant's wedding on April 27th. The photographic opportunity is always spectacular at Callaway Gardens. It lived up to my high expectations. The beautiful flowers and bright colors were unforgettable. It started out raining a little but then cleared up as the day went on. Bryant and Julie never let the drizzle affect them. They were completely amazing and it shows in the photography. I want to add that both families made Angela and I feel completely welcome. We really had a lot of fun. Thank you all!
Julie and Bryant are on their amazing honeymoon in Italy. I hope you guys can watch this video. Enjoy! Piacere!

Tonya and Bo's Wedding
Last Saturday, we we asked to join Tonya and Bo as they walked down the aisle at Dalton First United Methodist Church. Tonya, you looked stunning and your smile was amazing. Tonya is always wanting to be different and when she wanted to climb a tree for a portrait, we were there. We hope you enjoy these.

Isabel and Madelyn in Black and White
In a recent Black and White studio session, Isabel and Madelyn brought mom, grandmom and great-grandmom in for a once in a lifetime portrait. We love generational photography. Just think of the value of this type of image 20 years from now. The girls were so cute and we all just melted when we started to review the images.

Elecia and Aaron's Wedding
It's that time again. Spring... beautiful weather, green grass, and weddings. Last weekend, Angela and I were asked to join the Jenkins and Middleton families as Elecia and Aaron were joined in marriage at Peavine Baptist Church in Rock Springs, Ga. We really enjoyed working with Aaron and Elecia. Karen Hanshaw with Karen's Kakes provided all the decorations for the church and reception (706)375-5614.
Please enjoy the following slide show. This is a sneak peak for the rest of the images.

Buddy's Life
Here is Buddy at 2 weeks
Angela and I recently visited one of our favorite families. We spent some time with Buddy Jackson as he turned "1". Buddy is very easy going and a joy to shoot (I think that Angela just really enjoys holding him). He and his brother, Hank and mom, Ginny Brooke were having a great time. We just let Buddy play and he did all of the work for us. Hank was especially helpful.

Tim and Stacey's Engagement
What a beautiful day and what a beautiful couple. They actually picked out the location and what a great location it was. Tim and Stacey are planning on getting married on June 8, 2008. They have a cool web site www.timandstacey.info (check it out).

Amato Wedding Album
Last year, we were asked to photograph the wedding of Susan Coppedge and Lorenzo Amato. The wedding and reception were both held in Mentone Springs, Alabama. Susan and Lorenzo were fantastic to work with; as were both families. It was an extremely fun day for us. Lorenzo asked to add an Italian flag behind his family portraits. I love it when we can collaborate with our clients and deliver an album that tells their story. I hope you enjoy seeing the finished album.
